Royalty-free?

Royalty-free pictures means that the photographer or designer is agreeing to sell his images to users for a attractive flat one-time(!) fee without a royalty for each copy of their product that they sell.

Users will not pay based on the number of times they are using the photo for one product or use. If the user creates two web template designs or two print advertisements, etc. that use the same photo, they are required to buy the photo once for EACH product.

Lizenzfrei (engl.: "royalty-free") bedeutet, dass nach dem ein Bild einmal gekauft wurde für dieses Motiv später keine weiteren Gebühren anfallen. Wird das Motiv mehrfach verwendet muss allerdings für jeden Einsatz in einem neuem Projekt die - zumeist sehr geringe - Lizenzgebühr entrichtet werden.
